The water way from Chau Doc City ( Vietnam) to Phnom Penh ( Cambodia) is very special adventure, but you must stay one more night in Chau Doc, Chau Doc is a very small town, not much to see, just a stopover from Can Tho City to Cambodia.
There are several boats available for your trip. The trip takes 4 - 5 hours, the boat will leave at 7.30 Am at Chau Doc Port, and stop at the border for Vietnam exit and police check, and another stop for Cambodia Custom. You can make Visa on arrival to Cambodia through this way.
The Visa fees to Cambodia is 30 USD/ person, but sometimes you are asked to pay extra 5$ USD for the crew member to make it for you, but you also can do it by yourself without paying any extra.
