The Valley of love is one of the most scenic sights in Da Lat, about 5 km north of the city center. In the 1930s, Indochinese Governor-General and French couples often chosed this place for their dates, then named Vallée d'Amour. By the time of King Bao Dai, this area was called Hoa Binh Valley or Valley of Peace, in 1953, Nguyen Vy - Chairman of Da Lat Town Council at that time - proposed to renamed Valley of Love.
The Valley of Love is beautiful and fascinated by the deep valleys and pines. In 1972, a dam was built across the valley to form the Da Thien Lake, created the charm of scenic landscape.
Visitors can follow the path or climb a hundred steps, passing through the flower gate with brilliant colors to the Vong Cau Hill. From here, the Valley of Love appears to be as beautiful as a vivid picture. The Valley of Love is an ideal and attractive eco-tourism destination that has become a popular place.
