Chiang Mai is a city in mountainous northern Thailand, it has an ancient history, and still remains the old vestiges: Just spend a feew days in Chiang Mai, you will see the difference from a busy City of Bangkok.

Day 1: Bangkok - Chiang Mai - Overnight Train: Chiang Mai

Today, you will have time to travel in Bangkok before your overnight train to Chiang Mai :

Arrive at Bangkok International Airport , warmly welcome and proceed to Train Station to take train to Chiang Mai which is depart from Bangkok 8:20 PM. Overnight on Train .

Day 2: Chiang Mai - City Tour : Chiang Mai

Arrive at the Chiang Mai Train Station , warmly welcome and proceed to hotel check in and enjoy the breakfast .

Pick up from the hotel to the Doi SuthepPui National Park to the mountain with curvy road to seeDoi Suthep Temple, the most important temple in Chiang Mai. Exercise time by walking up 306 steps to the temples or taking the funicular to the temple with the attitude at 1,100 ms above the sea level.
See the Northern Thai dented corner golden pagoda which contain the relic of the Lord Buddha. Surrounding with the mural painting hall which telling about the Lord Buddha story. Here you can also get a chance to get a holy blessing and wrist tiding ceremony from the Buddhist monk. From the balcony, enjoy with the panorama view of Chiang Mai City. Birds fly up in the sky and cool breath against your face.

Come back to the city to see Suan Dork Royal Temple where the northern royal family tombs are located and the standing Buddha Image, the only one in holding the blessing stick position in Chiang Mai. Visit Wat Chedi Luang or The Grand Pagoda Temple where you can see the biggest pagoda in Chiang Mai which broke down by the earthquake in 1454, but still can see the giantic pagoda stands gracefully in the middle of the temple ground. Before the returning back to the hotel see Wat Chiang Maan, the first temple as the royal resident of King Mengrai of Mengrai dynasty. See 2 precious Buddha images "Phra Satangkamanee " and "Phra Buddha Sila" which are important for Chiang Mai people.

In the afternoon, you will visit Royal Flora Gadern: The Royal Flora Ratchaphruek Garden is situated 10km southwest of Chiang Mai, in Mae Hia sub-district Nestled in a lush mountain landscape, this 400 rai (240,000m2) of land is indeed a picturesque setting not only the garden itself with its many plant and flower species but also its unique and delicate artwork and architecture which enriches the minds of its visitors with its seductive natural beauty.

Day 3: Chiang Mai - Elephant Camp : Chiang Mai

A picturesque drive through agricultural Thai countryside, along MaeTang valley bring you to Elephant Nature park. You will hear the personal stories of the rescued elephants as told by expert guides. You will learn about the problems elephants face in Southeast Asia and how elephant Nature Park is helping in the treatment and care of Thailand’s dwinding elephant population.Floowing the introduction food and fruit treatswill be distributed and you will have a chance to feed the elephants from the viewing platforms. A sumptuous and varied buffet follows. After lunch it is bathing time for the elephants. You will walk with the elephant Nature park staff to the river that skirts the park. After learning how to safety and properly bathe an elephant, plunge right in and help scrub these giants as they splash around. If going into the river is not for you then watch the elephants bathe and play while you stay dry on the sandy shore. Around 5 PM it’s time for goodbyes to the elephants and to Elephant Nature park before the hour long drive back to Chiang Mai where you will be dropped off at your accommodation.

Day 4: Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle: Chiang Rai

Depart from Chiang Mai in the morning , go along the road no.118. See the beautiful scenic of the rice fields beside the road and start the drive into the mountainous area. Before reaching Chiang Rai City, we make a stop at the hot spring, see the natural hot spring and stress your legs before continue the road again.

Soon before Chiang Rai City, stop at “ Rong Khoon ” or “ White Temple ” which stand glittering against the sun. You’ll amaze with the beautiful Thai and temporary art by Mr. Chalermchai Kositpipat, one of the greatest artist in Thailand who wanted to present the art which can relate to the Buddhist in his own idea. Not only the magnificent view from outside, but also inside the main building where you can see the beautiful painting on the walls which he wanted to present what he has seen in his lifetime which you’ll be amazed. Take a walk around the temple area for photos . If you wish to have a painting for a souvenir, please contact at the souvenir of the temple.

Continue on road again to the Golden Triangle where the three countries meet. See Thailand, Laos and Myanmar which divide by the two rivers : Ruak River ( For Thailand and Myanmar) and Mae Khong River in between Myanmar – Laos and Thailand – Laos. Lunch in the local restaurant before going to Mae Sai, the Northern Most Point Of Thailand. See the locals from both Thai and Burmese crossing the border for commercial. Enjoy your shopping time with some gems stones jewelry and some of Chinese product. After that visit the hilltribes people called “ Yao” who came from Yuan Nan from southern part of China and “ Akha” who came from Tibet and Myanmar as well as visit the Long Neck Tribe who immigrated from Khaya State from Myanmar before heading back to Chiang Mai.

After your tour, you will check in the hotel in Chiang Rai City.
