Ba Be National Park is a reserve in Bac Kan Province, Northeast region of Vietnam. set up to protect a freshwater lake (Ba Be Lake) along with surrounding limestone and lowland evergreen forests. It is located about 240 kilometers northwest of the capital city Hanoi.
Ba Be means"Three Lakes" in the local Tay language) is the largest natural fresh water lake, stretching about 8 kilometers in the north-south direction.
The lake is the largest natural lake in the Northeast region of the country ( Surface area 6.5 km2 ). In the lake there are also three islands Having been formed approximately 200 million years ago, the lake is surrounded by limestone cliffs, which in turn are covered by primary forests. In the lake, there are also three islands, the Lake is a featured geographical science and is a biodiversity reservoir. It is a part of the Ba Be National Park. It is home to a range of animals and plants.
Ban Gioc is a collective name for two waterfalls on the Quay Son River , that straddle the international border between China and Vietnam; more specifically located between the Karst hills of Daxin County, Guangxi, and Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang Province, Vietnam. The waterfall is 300 km north of Hanoi. The waterfall drops 30 m (98 ft). It is separated into three falls by rocks and trees, and the thundering effect of the water hitting the cliffs can be heard from afar.
At 08.00Am: Our gui pick up from your hotel, travel north along Hightway 3 to Thai Nguyen , you will have a visit to the Museum of the Cultures of Viet Nam Ethnic Groups in Thai Nguyen City
At about 15.30 PM: you arrive in Ba Be National Park. After check into ‘homestay’ in Pac Ngoi village, you will have free time to walk around this village of the Tay Minority. Overnight at house on stilt
At 08.00 Am, After breakfast at home stay, we will arrange a boat to visit the beauty of Ba be Lake, glide along the river and through the pretty cave, the tranquil Ba Be lakes for its majesty.
At 13.00 PM, After lunch, say goodbye to our host and drive towards Cao Bang Province. We will arrive in Cao Bang town at about 17.00 PM. Check in your hotel, free walking around the town. Overnight at hotel in Cao Bang City
At 07:30 Am: You will go to Ban Gioc waterfalls. Today you will have a great visit to the beautiful Ban Gioc waterfalls on the Vietnam - China Border. This picturesque, cascading waterfall is 53 meters high and has an impressive span of 300 meters. The drive there offers unique landscapes, limestone karst formations soar from the verdant rice paddies of the surrounding farms of local ethnic minorities. Along the way, you΄ll see Tay, Hmong and Dzao ethnic minority groups.
At 12.00, You will have lunch in restaurant nearby Ban Gioc Waterfalls, and head back to Cao Bang, on the way, we come to visit the expansive 2,144 meter Nguom Ngao Cave to discover its brilliant stalactites.
